Hello Students and Families!!!
I will be your SLU Teacher this year!
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I attended college in Erie, Pennsylvania at Mercyhurst University. I graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelor’s of the Arts in Early Childhood and Special Education and with a Master’s of Science in Special Education. I have had experiences in several classrooms including regular education and special education. Prior to coming to El Paso, I spent the two years teaching special education at a high school in Orlando, Florida. Last year, I worked as an Inclusion and Resource teacher here at Lincoln. I have enjoyed my time in special education and look forward to continuing in SLU.
I take my role as your child’s teacher and your partner in his/her education, very seriously. I want the best for your child and I will do everything I can to make sure he/she succeeds! As your partner, I want you to feel as though you have open communication with me. I am here for your questions, suggestions, and concerns. Teaching is a team effort and I believe the parents and families are an essential part of that team! To help with communication I have setup several ways for you to stay updated on school activities as well as your child’s behaviors. Together we will have a fantastic year, with a great deal of success from all!
