PARENTS AND STUDENTS
I want to welcome you to the 2016-2017 school year here at Lincoln Middle School. I look forward to working with you and your student. We will work together to capitalize on your student's strengths, improve areas where challenges exist, and provide your student every opportunity for a successful school year. I am the AIM Math/Science teacher this year.
I graduated from New Mexico State University with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Special Education/Elementary Education. My teaching experience ranges from middle school to post-secondary. I am the mother of 1 wonderful child, who is currently in the third grade. When not at school, I enjoy watching my daughter play basketball as well as attending UTEP Miners women's basketball games.
Along with myself, there is a paraprofessional in the class who will be assisting and monitoring students throughout their daily activities. If you should have any questions, please direct them to me, as the paraprofessional will always refer you to me as well.
When there are grade level activities that affect the whole campus (field trips, assemblies, etc.), every effort is made to ensure that the students are included in the activities for their grade level when appropriate. Additional supervision and support is given when needed to make sure the student receives benefit from the activity.
All students in our class will be attending 7th grade lunch. Support is available to students and they are monitored during lunch time.
The following is a list of supplies that your student will need:
-(2) packages of wide-ruled paper
-(2) packages of pencils
-(1) package of erasers
-(4) boxes of Kleenex
-(2) bottles of hand sanitizer
A list of computer learning programs which students are encouraged to access at home, along with any needed user names and passwords, has been sent home in your student's communication notebook. Links for these websites are available on the left side of this page.
My conference time is 2:02-2:50pm, please feel free to contact me anytime. Just leave a message with the main office at (915) 236-3400, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the "Contact Me" tab on the left side of this page.
